Mustard Seed Shelter has been given a beautiful gift. Help Them Find a Soft Place to Fall is a heartfelt, 20-song album featuring original music from beloved country and Americana storytelling-songwriters. This labor of love was initiated by Dr. Don Steele – a passionate supporter of Mustard Seed and a Saginaw native – who invited fellow musicians to help create something meaningful for our mission.
These songs speak of hardship, hope, resilience, and recovery – echoing the very real journeys of the women and children who find refuge in our home on Cherry Street.
The album is available in CD and USB formats. Both are beautifully packaged and make lovely gifts. You can order copies of Help Them Find a Soft Place to Fall via the button below for $25 for each 20 song CD or USB.

Benefit Album
Psychologist. Educator. Musician. Author.
Dr. Don Steele has worn many hats – but using music to serve others might be his greatest gift. This is his third benefit album, following collaborations with Tammy Wynette and Willie Nelson.
Dr. Don dedicated this project to a child he met at Mustard Seed named Kyree, who arrived with his mother in 2018.
“I watched them transform in a matter of weeks. It was incredible. I knew I had to help this place that had helped them.” — Dr. Don Steele
We are honored and humbled by Dr. Don’s commitment to our mission.
