At Mustard Seed Shelter, we believe that everyone deserves to feel good in their skin. Jamie’s Clothing Boutique provides women and children in need with access to clean, new or gently used clothing that helps restore dignity, confidence, and a sense of normalcy during challenging times.
When you visit Mustard Seed Shelter as a guest, volunteer or in any capacity, you will quickly see that we are not a “typical” shelter. Our boutique is just one example of the unique experience at our home. New guests are able to “shop” by appointment with a volunteer or more seasoned guest for clothing, accessories and shoes they need for themselves and their children. Seating, mirrors and cheerful décor make this an enjoyable experience.
We recently named our boutique in honor of Jamie Dycus, a guest who came to Mustard Seed in late 2021. Jamie was instrumental in helping create the boutique experience and kept the space organized and running smoothly for over three and-a-half years with the help of a team of volunteers.
Jamie’s Clothing Boutique is designed to meet the needs of women and children experiencing homelessness or crisis. Whether they’re seeking everyday wear or special attire for new opportunities, we’re here to support their journey toward independence.
Donations of gently used clothing are always needed and appreciated. Your contributions help provide essential clothing to those in need, empowering them to face the future with confidence. Together, we can make a lasting impact on their journey.
At Mustard Seed Shelter, we understand the power of feeling good about oneself. Jamie’s Clothing Boutique is here to help women and children regain their confidence and step into new opportunities with pride.
Our work is made possible by the generous support of individuals, churches, clubs, organizations, and foundations. With 95 cents of every dollar going directly to our life-changing programs, your contributions make a tangible impact.
Our Mission: We water the seed of inner strength in women experiencing homelessness so they can make a better life for themselves and their children.
